If something happens and you don't have a will, the state decides everything.

Who raises your kids. Who gets your assets. Who handles your finances. Don't leave that to chance.

Two documents.
One session.

Most people know they should have an estate plan. Almost no one finishes one. EstateSorted removes every obstacle — no attorney appointment, no confusing forms, no waiting. You answer 13 straightforward questions and walk away with documents that hold up.

  • Last Will and Testament
Names your beneficiaries, appoints a guardian for minor children, and designates an executor to carry out your wishes — legally valid in all 50 states.
  • Durable Financial Power of Attorney
Authorizes someone you trust to manage your finances if you're incapacitated — banks, taxes, real estate, investments. Stays in effect even if you can't speak for yourself.

What people say.

"I'd been putting this off for three years. Did it in one sitting while my kids were napping. The questions were clear and it felt like talking to a knowledgeable friend, not filling out a government form."

Sarah M. — Austin, TX

"My wife and I finally have peace of mind. We paid more for a family dinner than we did for our estate documents. I genuinely don't know why this isn't the default for everyone."

Questions.

Are these documents legally valid?
Yes. EstateSorted uses attorney-reviewed document templates that comply with the legal requirements of all 50 U.S. states. As with any legal document, you should sign in front of witnesses and a notary as directed in your documents. We recommend having an attorney review them if your situation is complex.
What if I need to make changes later?
Life changes, and so should your documents. You can return to EstateSorted and complete a new questionnaire at any time. Each session is a separate $149 purchase, though we're working on an update plan for existing customers.
What do I actually get after checkout?
You receive two PDF documents: a Last Will and Testament and a Durable Financial Power of Attorney. Both are personalized with your specific answers, sent to your email, and available for re-download any time using your order ID.
Is my information secure?
Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see your card details. Your questionnaire answers are encrypted in transit and stored securely. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Is this the same as hiring an estate attorney?
EstateSorted is a self-service document preparation service. We don't provide legal advice and no attorney-client relationship is formed. For straightforward estates, these documents cover the essentials. If you have significant assets, a blended family, a business, or other complexities, we recommend consulting a licensed estate attorney.
What if I only want one document?
The $149 flat fee covers both documents — the will and the power of attorney. They're designed to work together, and having both is strongly recommended. We don't offer them separately.
